Total 49 matches will be played 14 venues in Australia and Newzeland. 26 matches playing in Australia the venues are Canberra, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide,Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
Rest the matches will be played in Newzeland , following the venues Christ church, Nelson, Anittor, Dunedin, Auckland, Wellington and Napier. The last world cup held in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka , last world cup final played between India and Sri Lanka , India won by six wickets.Pakistan lost the hosting opportunity due to terror attacks on Sri Lankan team at the time of Sri Lankan tour in Pakistan.
